Senior Counsellor - Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual Assault, Shepparton.

Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual Assault (GVCASA) is one of 15 CASAs throughout Victoria that provide a range of counselling, advocacy and support services to victims/survivors of recent or past sexual assault, their non-offending family members, partners or friends. Sexual assault prevention programs and outreach services are also provided by GVCASA.

GVCASA is seeking a Senior Counsellor to lead our Counsellor Advocate and Crisis Care teams. You will be well supported locally by the Manager of Trauma Informed Services, and by the broader CASA network. If you have a tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work and at least 4 years experience providing counselling and therapeutic services with experience in trauma counselling and/or sexual assault counselling, then this is an exciting opportunity for you. This position is based at the Shepparton GVCASA office.

Applicants should possess excellent communication, decision making, advocacy, networking and negotiations skills.
