New Beginnings Group

For women survivors of family violence. The focus of this group is on breaking down the isolation often felt by victims of family violence by meeting with other women who have had a similar experience. Many victim/survivors of family violence say they are confused about what happened to them in the abusive relationship.

The group addresses these feelings of confusion by providing an understanding to women about the how the daily interactions within abusive relationships takes away the women's power.

The groups give the women an opportunity to regain a sense of control in their own lives and move on.
